- 2Round 2: inc in each st. (12)
- 3Rounds 3-5: increase evenly to 36 stitches.
- 4Rounds 6-11: dc in each st around (36 sts for 6 rounds).
- 5Rounds 12-15: decrease evenly back to 12 stitches, stuffing firmly before closing. Attach safety eyes between rounds 8 and 9.
2. Body
- 1Start with 6dc in a magic ring. Increase to 30 stitches over 5 rounds.
- 2Work straight for 8 rounds, then decrease back to 12 stitches. Stuff firmly before closing.
3. Limbs and ears
- 1Arms (make 2): 6dc in a magic ring, increase to 10 stitches, work straight for 10 rounds. Stuff lightly.
- 2Legs (make 2): 6dc in a magic ring, increase to 14 stitches, work straight for 8 rounds. Stuff.
- 3Ears (make 2): 6dc in a magic ring, increase to 12 stitches. Work 2 rounds, then flatten and do not stuff.
4. Assemble
- 1Sew the head to the body. Attach arms, legs and ears. Embroider the nose in black yarn.
- 2Weave in all ends securely.
Top tip: Use a smaller hook than recommended for the yarn weight — this creates a tighter fabric so the stuffing does not show through.
